In a world that often feels divided, we believe the Gospel calls us to tell a different kind of story— one of unity, community, and purpose.

Cornerstone Church was born out of a shared vision and a deep conviction. For years, Oasis Church and Orange Beach Community Church served our local community with a passion for Jesus. But after much prayer, thought, and spiritual discernment, both leadership teams realized something profound: we can do far more together than we ever could apart.

On Easter Sunday, April 5th, 2026 we officially joined forces, laying down individual identities to step into a new, unified season as one church family under one name.

Led by Calling, Not Necessity

This merger wasn't driven by budgets or buildings. It was driven by a calling.

We brought our congregations together to:

Love our community better: Combining our gifts, resources, and passions to make a greater impact across Orange Beach and beyond.
Exalt Jesus clearer: Standing shoulder-to-shoulder to lift up the name that matters most.
Fulfill the mission stronger: Creating an environment where people can discover faith, find belonging, and grow spiritually.

When you're willing to set aside individual "brands" for the sake of the Kingdom, God builds something far greater than anything we could have planned on our own. It’s a gift of His grace.

Our Leadership Team

Jimmy Brown, Co-Lead Pastor

Jimmy has been serving in the church since 1994, leading in numerous areas of ministry (children, youth, adult – teaching, missions, communication, training, etc.) since then by the grace of God. He was ordained in 2013 and served as Associate Pastor at Redeemer Church in Omaha, Nebraska for 3 years. Following that, he founded and led Runner Church, an outreach ministry focused on the running community, which he led for 7 years before moving to Gulf Shores with his wife, Paula. They have been married for over 30 years and have a son, Jacob, who was born in 2000. Prior to merging with Orange Beach Community Church to form Cornerstone, he served as interim pastor and then senior pastor of Oasis Church. Jimmy’s personal mission statement for all of life is, “I exist to know and make known Jesus so that God is honored in us and we are happy in Him.” He loves studying the Bible, writing gospel-centered resources, and teaching / preaching the Word to help people grow in their love for and obedience to Jesus. His hobbies are running, hiking, cycling, playing pickleball and traveling. The Browns are originally from Arkansas and love being back in the South again.

Brandon Moore, Co-Lead Pastor

Brandon has served in pastoral ministry for 26 years. Prior to merging with Oasis Church he served as the Lead Pastor of Orange Beach Community Church for 8.5 years. Before becoming a lead pastor, he spent 17 years in youth ministry, where his love for connecting with people and helping them grow in their faith became a defining part of his ministry. Originally from Hartselle, Alabama, Brandon earned a Bachelor of Science in Religion from Liberty University and a Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He is passionate about teaching God’s Word in a way that is easy to understand without sacrificing its depth and richness. One of his favorite passages is 1 John 5:3, which reminds us that loving God is demonstrated through joyful obedience to His commands. Brandon’s desire for Cornerstone is that it would truly feel like a church family and be a place where people experience genuine love, build meaningful relationships, and are encouraged to grow in their walk with the Lord. Brandon has been married to his wife, Melissa, since 2012, and they have two daughters, Lily and Addy. When he isn’t preaching or serving at the church, you can usually find him spending time with his family, smoking delicious meats, or nerding out to a good sci-fi movie.
